Das Programm der Net.Law.S 2019
Workshop: The use of AI powered automated individual decision-making in the fight against crime
The goal of the workshop is to show the legal possibilities (and limitations) for implementing innovative tools based on artificial intelligence, mostly machine learning, for mission planning, surveillance and threat assessments (among other things) by law enforcement agencies. To this end, the team from University of Vienna will draw on their work in and experience from EU projects CONNEXIONs and CREST and introduce the participants to the relevant European legal framework and give an overview of the legal situation in the member states.
